Though this is not a sure shot news, word on internet has it Microsoft is planning to release a Service Pack of Windows 7 operating system. We cannot give you exact date of the release of Windows 7 SP1 but it is expected to be unveiled this summer.

The SP1 of Windows 7 won't be drastically different from the current version as there is not a great deal of issues to be fixed.

Still, the Windows 7 SP1 could include couple of new features such as all of the Windows updates that have been released so far and support for USB 3.0 and other new hardware.
