Initially when Vista was launched there was no one I knew who loved Vista. The main reason why people hated it was that it used to consume far too much system resources. And in spite of consuming hell lot of system power it was terribly slow. But now things are slightly better after the introduction of Vista Service Pack 1, but surely there's ample room for improvement. And Microsoft is doing just that. According to industry reports, the Service Pack 2 for Vista is already in development. The software giant will come out with the Vista SP2 before it releases Windows 7, its next generation operating system.
