Microsoft Morro FREE anti-virus software coming soon
Hard to digest, right? But according to reports the software behemoth is actually planning to launch a FREE anti-virus software. And no, its not going to be a small suite of softwares. The MS Morro Anti-Virus software will compete directly with costlier Symantec and McAfee anti-virus softwares. Currently, MS is internally testing the software but the firm will soon come out with a beta version of the software for public.
According to Microsoft, the Morro will offer basic features for fighting a wide range of viruses.
It will also provide protection from several types of malicious software including viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans.
