    True to its word, yesterday Microsoft demonstrated its upcoming Windows 8 operating system for tablet computers. At the developer conference on Tuesday, the software giant showcased a Samsung 11.6-inch slate tablet running a “pre-beta” version of Windows 8 OS.


    The tablet in question is a version of Samsung’s Series 7 tablet and features an 11.6-inch multi touch display, 1.6GHz ARM processor, front and rear cameras, WiFi, SIM-card slot, 3G, USB port, microSD card slot, and HDMI.
