
According to a recently leaked roadmap, Intel is planning to launch six-core Westmere processor in 2010. The Westmere is based on 32nm fabrication process and will be different from
eight-core Nehalem architecture. It boast 12MB of L3 cache, a new instruction set "AES-NI" that accelerates encryption and LT-SX (LaGrande Technology) security stack. Hopefully, the Westmere will be available by 2010.
