Intel to launch dual-core Atom 330 processor in September

intel_atom3.jpg As we have reported earlier, Intel's is going to release dual core version of its Atom processor in September. The Atom 330 is the first dual core CPU under Atom brand, and will sport a core clock speed of 1.6GHz. The chip sports 533FSB speed and total of 1MB cache. Also, as per earlier reports, the processor supports 64-bit processing, and provides a TDP of 8W. The Atom 330 is competitively priced at $43 a pop, and will be unveiled on 21 September.
