Intel Sandy Bridge platform to offer 2x performance
Intel is a firm that has been continuously doubling performance of its chips. If report on internet is to be believed then the firm will again double performance of its existing chips with Sandy Bridge platform. The Sandy Bridge Platform include a CPU and integrated graphics, and reportedly doubles performance of current generation chips.
The graphics chip will be based on 32nm process technology, making it the world’s first to be manufactured by 32nm.
Intel reports that the platform would further provide advanced multimedia and graphics capability.
What’s more, the chip would also support up to 8-processing cores and 4GHz clock speeds!
