Intel Core 2 Quad Q9500 Processor $183 Coming Next Month
Planning to buy a new processor? Well, wait till January as the chip giant will be unveiling a new Core 2 Quad processor targeted at office / SOHO users who’re looking for affordable quad core solution. Priced at $183, the Core 2 Quad Q9500 is an update to Intel’s Core 2 Quad Q9400 processor with faster 2.83GHz clock speed.
The processor will be based on 45nm fabrication processor and will have 1333MHz FSB and 6MB of cache.
It’ll also provide 95W of TDP.
Expected launch date is 17 January.
