Intel Atom N280 processor based netbooks coming
If reports are to be believed then Intel is planning a new Atom processor, the N280. According to Digitimes, netbooks based on the latest Atom will be unveiled by ASUS, Acer and Gigabyte between second- and third-quarter of 2009. The new Atom N280 is better than its predecessor N270 with enhanced 1.66GHz core speed and 667MHz front side bus. On the other hand the new processor is slightly expensive at $60-65.
