Intel 22nm Ivy Bridge processors coming in March 2012

Intel’s upcoming Ivy Bridge processors have generated quite a buzz in tech world for two reasons — the platform is built using 22nm process technology and boast of 3-D Tri-Gate transistors. Now word on internet has it Intel is all set to release Ivy Bridge processor in March 2012!
The platform will have dual-core and quad-core processors. From earlier reports we know that Ivy Bridge support PCI Express 3.0 and it’s graphics processor will have support for DirectX 11 and OpenCL 1.1.
Currently we don’t know the specification of Ivy Bridge chips, but we do know that quad-code Ivy Bridge CPUs will have TDP of 45W, 65W and 77W, while the dual-core models will have TDP of 35W and 55W.
