Originally Intel was suppose to unveil Cedar Trail-M platform in September. But due to low demand of Atom processors because of competition from tablet PCs, Intel delayed the launch of Cedar Trail-M platform. Now word on internet has it Intel will officially unveil the Cedar Trail-M 32nm platform including Atom N2800 and N2600 processors in December.
The Atom N2800 is a dual-core processor with clock speed of 1867MHz. It is expected to be priced at $47.
The Atom N2600 is also a dual-core chip but with 1.6GHz clock speed. It is expected to cost $41.
Soon after that launch Asus will unveil 10-inch Cedar-Trial-M models, including Eee PC 1025C and Eee PC 1025CE.
