AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition processor introduced
AMD today silently announced a new Black Edition processor. The AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition is a desktop processor, manufactured using 45nm fabrication process. The chip boast of 3.4GHz core speed, 8MB cache, and support for DDR3 memory.
The processor is a boon for overclockers as by using liquid nitrogen the firm was able to overclock this processor to 7GHz, indicating their is a lot of room for overclockers to play around.
The processor also supports DirectX 11 and includes 20 built-in profiles. It also allows users to create their own profiles using AMD Overdrive software.
