• AMD Phenom II X2 555 dual core, Phenom II X4 955 quad core processors coming soon

    If reports are to be believed then Advanced Micro Devices will soon introduce two Phenom series processors. The Phenom II is a dual core processor, featuring 3.2GHz core speed and 80W TDP. It also boast of 2x512KB L2 cache per core and an additional 6MB of L3 cache, making it quite fast CPU.


    On the other hand the Phenom X4 955 is a quad core processor, providing 3.2GHz core speed and lower power rating of 95W.
    The 95W Phenom II X4 955 will appear in Q2 2010, while the Phenom II X2 555 will come in Q4 2009.
