• AMD launches new Phenom II, Athlon II processors for mainstream desktops

    Advanced Micro Devices today rolled out five new processors under Phenom II and Athlon II series. The newest AMD chips are designed to give mainstream consumers advanced performance capabilities from their desktop PCs at increasingly attractive price points. Interesting thing about these new processors is that they’re quite affordable. Imagine buying a triple core Phenom II processor for only $84!
