Advanced Micro Devices recently came out with a new Athlon series with the launch of Athlon X2 7750, and Athlon X2 7750 Black Edition processors. The latest Athlon series is faster than tradition Athlons, but with "budget" price-tag. The most interesting thing about this series is that its based on "Phenom" architecture, and sports 2MB Level 3 cache and 3.6GHz HyperTransport bus. The normal 7750 model features 2.5GHz frequency, while the Black Edition provides higher 2.7GHz core clock speed.
