AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition Launched
Advanced Micro Devices has announced a new addition to it’s dual core Athlon line up. The new chip is targeted towards gamers, enthusiasts and digital content creators who run multiple processor-intensive applications simultaneously. Clocked at 3.2GHz the Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition features an integrated 128-bit dual-channel memory controller, DDR2 memory up to and including PC2 6400 (DDR2-800) unbuffered memory, dedicated 2MB L2 cache, and 125W TDP.
It’s now available for $251 WOF (without a fan) for PIB (Processor in a Box).
