Kingston demos desktop with 24GB DDR3 RAM

kingston_24gig-memory.jpg Desktop with 24gig DDR3 memory sounds good, nah? At the ongoing CeBIT show Kingston demonstrated just that. The King of memory showcased a desktop that has been set up with six 4GB DDR3 ValueRAM modules, totaling an impressive 24GB of memory. Such huge amount of memory on a desktop will surely help if you happen to do intensive research or analysis work. The system demoed was based on Intel's Core i7 920 processor, and had Gigabyte GA-EX58 UD5 motherboard, and an NVIDIA graphics chip.
