God help us from mobile network providers!
One interesting development in recent times has been “bundled phones”, i.e. a phone plus a contract for mobile network service. Great thing about this is you get amazing phones for dirt cheap but that’s actually the only good thing about the deal. As soon as you overcome the hysteria of buying a new smartphone you realise you’re paying a bomb every month in the form of mobile bills. Though you signed up because you were getting an amazing phone for cheap, now you end up paying even more for your phone and mobile network (a simple math will tell you how much “extra” you pay for getting the bundled phone as compared to buying them separately).

That’s not all. Mobile networks not only take you for ride by charging you more but fails to provide quality service. When you’re paying a bomb every month you at least expect good service, but unfortunately you never get good service from mobile network service providers.
Though while selling you the plan they promise sun and moon, reality is drastically different. In their sales pitch they talk about best coverage, fast data speed, amazing service, etc. but in reality they don’t fulfil any of it. Take mobile coverage for example, it is suppose to follow you everywhere but after you start using the service you realise it follows you only at certain places! More often than not you get poor signal or no signal at all. That’s not all sometimes you also get No Available Network error Heights if you ask me.
Moving forward to data, that too is suppose to flow at the speed of light as presented in the sales pitch but fact of the matter is videos still need buffering before you can view them. The same problem is carried forward when you register your complaint. The support executives talk sweetly but can hardly solve issues. After having multiple issues I feel rather than calling them “Support Team” we should call them “Unsupportive Team”.
I bet there’s hardly any of us who has had a good experience with their mobile network service providers, that’s why I say God help us from mobile network providers!
On a serious note hope network providers listen to consumer complaints and change their behaviour and improve their service!
