Toshiba has announced two new HD DVD recorders that comes pre-loaded with high capacity hard drives. The RD-A600 and RD-A300 offers 600GB and 300GB storage capacity respectively. They can write to single/dual layer HD DVD and DVD media and to their respective hard drives. Both of them features HDMI, HD tuners, and Firewire. The 600GB version is priced at $1,642 while the 300GB model costs $1,231.
