SteelSeries' Ikari Optical and Laser Professional Gaming Mice

Soon after Microsoft and Razer launched SideWinder and Lachesis respectively SteelSeries unveiled their latest peripherals for the lucrative gaming market. You won't believed that the firm actually worked with professional gamers, and took their advice on shape, materials and specifications to design Ikari line up. They also paid attention to community input and feedback of more than 5,000 gamers from the competitive gaming segment. After 15 months of research the company manufactured Ikari Optical for FPS gamers and Ikari Laser for RTS & MMO gamers. Ikari's chassis is shaped to accommodate the three "major gaming grips" -- Swipe, Claw, and Palm. The plug-and-play mice boosts anti-sweat and slip-resistant surface coating to improve control during gaming sessions. Both of them operates at 500MHz and features changeable dpi settings, and programmable buttons. They'll be available from Q4 2007.
