Iodata introduces three Blu-ray players
Iodata Japan has launched three Blu-ray disc players, the BRD-AM2S (pictured above) built-in type (white), BRD-AM2SB built-in type (black) and BRD-UM2S external type (white). These players are loaded with many softwares like lighting software “B’s Recorder GOLD9 BASIC”, packet light/write software “B’s CLiP7”, authoring software “DVD MovieWriter 5 BD version” and “BD DiscRecorder 2.5”, BD/DVD playback software “WinDVD” and so on. As for speed, it records BD at 2x, single layer DVD±R at 8x, dual layer DVD±R at 4x, DVD+RW at 8x, and DVD-RW at 6x. It has a buffer capacity of 8MB.
The built-in drive is priced at $694 and the external one at $740, approximately $207 less then their previous player which was released last year. All the players will be available from February in the Japanese market.
