Fujitsu has unveiled a new gizmo for mobile business users who needs an ultra-compact scanning solution. The ScanSnap S300 measures just 11.2 x 3.7 x 3.0 inches and weights less than 3.1 lbs. The “world’s smallest” color, duplex automatic document feeder (ADF) scanner is small enough to fit in a briefcase or laptop bag. Using the “one-touch” conversion functionality you can convert paper documents into searchable PDF files in record time, according to the company.
The USB 2.0 powered scanner scans at speeds of up to 8 pages per minute for single-sided documents and 16 images per minute for double-sided documents at 600dpi optical resolution.
The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 scanner will be available from 21st November for $295.
