Call/Recall unveils multi-terabyte storage solution
Call/Recall has developed a new 2-photon recorded 3D optical storage technology “that can provide 40 times the capacity of Blu-ray and over 200 times the capacity of DVD optical storage technology.” The firm’s patented tech utilizes 2-photon recording process to record bits in a three-dimensional volume in a disk that allows storing of multiple layers of information. The disc created by this tech has a capacity equivalent to 250 conventional single layer DVDs.
