ZaReason UltraLap 430 ultrabook with Linux
We have seen quite a few ultrabooks till now, but I believe it is for the first time that a company has launched an ultrabook with Linux operating system. Dubbed as ZaReason UltraLap 430, the ultrabook is powered by Intel Core i3-3217U (1.8GHz) “Ivy Bridge” processor and features Ubuntu 12.04 LTS OS.
Specification include 14.1″ HD LED backlit display (1366×768), Intel HD 4000 Graphics, 4GB DDR3 memory, and 32GB mSATA SSD.
ZaReason UltraLap 430 also provide HD stereo speakers, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3-in-1 card reader, 1.3MP webcam, and multi-gesture touchpad.
The ultrabook measures 13.5in x 9.25in x .75in and weighs 3.5 lbs.
I/O options include HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, Kensington lock port, headphone/mic jack, 2x USB 3.0 ports and 1x USB 2.0 port.
It has a battery life of 6 hours.
ZaReason UltraLap 430 is now available for $899.
