Vigor Gaming's Atlantis, Artorius, and Ares Notebooks


Vigor Gaming is back after a long time with five new notebooks -- Atlantis (17"), Atlantis Pro (20.1"), Ares (15.4"), Ares Pro (15.4"), and Artorius Pro. The Atlantis models (pictured above) for gamers are the "most sophisticated and powerful notebook ever." With dual Nvidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics cards with discrete 1GB DDR3 memory in SLI Technology you'll have a rocking time while playing your favorite high definition games. The company says, "for those who demand uncompromised performance and desire adrenaline thrills, there's only one choice for a notebook: the unparalleled Vigor Atlantis." The Atlantis Pro features dual core AMD Turion processor, up to 2GB RAM, max 400GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, b/g wireless, Bluetooth, 1.3 mega pixel camera, TV Tuner, 2 speakers, subwoofer, and Vista. Based on Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Extreme chip the Atlantis provides similar specs except max storage is increased to 600GB. The Atlantis and Atlantis Pro starts $2,419 and $2,799 respectively.

The Ares editions are powerful laptops for mobile users with decent graphics card and extended battery life. Both of them are based on Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Extreme processor, and the Ares model includes Santa Rosa platform. The Ares Pro ($1,589) and Ares ($1,289) can be configured with up to 4GB RAM, max 200GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, Nvidia 8600M GT with 512MB DDR2 memory, a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, 2.0 mega pixel webcam, fingerprint reader, TV Tuner, and Vista.

The 17-inch Santa Rosa based Artorius Pro ($1,889) is "one of the fastest Gaming rigs in its mobility class" with 7950 GTX graphics and 1920X1200 resolution. The firm claims it allows you to stay in sync with this fast paced world while on the move. The Artorius similar to Area series except it includes 1.3 mega pixel cam. All of them are now available.
