ViewSonic ViewPad 7 Now Official! It is the world’s first 7” Android tablet with phone functionality
Finally ViewSonic officially introduced its ViewPad slate tablet. As reported earlier, the ViewPad 7 is a 7-inch tablet PC with simple yet sophisticated design. It is being touted as the world’s first 7″ Android 2.2 (Froyo) tablet with phone functionality, multi-tasking capabilities and front and back-facing cameras. So here you get a portable machine that is good for everything — computing, web browsing, video chatting, and even phone calling!
When one buys a tablet computer one expects good connectivity options. And as far as ViewPad 7 is concerned, you get everything — WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, a full size SIM card slot, and USB.
Specification include 7-inch LED multi-touch display, Micro SD slot for up to 32GB of storage, 3MP front camera, VGA back camera, and Android 2.2 operating system.
It is priced at $540.
