UMID MID looks so much like a netbook
Mobile Internet Devices are generally very small. And most of the time they sport UMPC-like design. But it appears Korea's UMID doesn't follow convention. It came out with a sexy MID which actually looks like a netbook! The UMID MID is based on Intel's Atom processor, and sports a 4.8-inch touch screen display (1024×600 resolution). Other features are typical-netbook type -- 1GB RAM, 32GB SSD, 1.3 megapixel webcam, a mini-USB port, card reader, Wireless, Bluetooth, WiMAX, HSDPA, and WiBro. The MID supports Linux, Windows XP, and Windows Vista operating systems. No word on pricing.
