Tsukumo Gigabyte launches three laptops

Tsukumo Japan has introduced three new laptop in their Gigabyte brand, the W251U-512, W551N-712 and W551N-712UL. All the notebooks includes a sensor which modifies the brightness of the LCD according to the brightness of the surroundings, a 'Silent Mode' that drastically reduced the system noise, and Bluetooth 2.0. The W251U-512 (pictured above) features a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 12.1-inch WXGA display (1,280×800 resolution), up to 2GB RAM, Intel 945GM Express (video functional built-in), 80GB HDD and DVD combo, and weights about 1.9kg. It's loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium and will run you for $1,325. The W551N-712 includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 15.4-inch display, 1GB memory, 80GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 (128MB) graphics card, and DVD combo. Weighting about 2.8Kg, it runs on Windows Vista Home Premium and will cost you $1,407.

The W551N-712UL is a media laptop which packs all the specs of W551N-712, plus Windows Vista Ultimate, a Media Center OS with a remote control. It is priced at approximately $1,573. All the laptops will be available from 30 January in the Japanese market.
