Toshiba has added two new notebooks in it's Santa Rosa line-up. The 15.4-inch Tecra A9 business notebook is an update to the Tecra A8. The 14.1-inch Tecra M9 is a thin-and-light notebook designed for the business traveler. Both the laptops boost shock absorbing design that can withstand accidental drops from heights up to one meter. The Tecra A9 (pictured above) features 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive (with shock protection), DVD super multi drive, Intel X3100 graphics, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth, spill resistant keyboard, and Vista.

The Tecra M9 comes with 2.2GHz C2D T7500 chip, 120GB hard drive, Nvidia Quadro NVS 130 with 256MB, and same other specs as that of A9. The A9 and M9 are priced at $1,159 and $1,799 respectively.
