Toshiba Satellite P500 laptop with Blu-ray burner — a first for Toshiba
Believe it. Yesteryears’ opposition leader is now in the winning party. In fact we knew it was coming. It was just matter of time before the leader of HD DVD camp unveiled a Blu-ray product. And what better way to start than a notebook. The Satellite P500 is Toshiba’s first notebook with a Blu-ray burner drive.
The 18.4-inch machine is targeted towards multimedia enthusiasts and supports 1920 x 1080p full HD LCD display.
It features Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, max 500GB hard drive, multi-touch trackpad, remote controller, and backlit keyboard.
It also provides eSATA, Wireless, Bluetooth, 3x USB 2.0 ports, and Harman Kardon speakers.
The Toshiba Satellite P500 will be available from October.
