Toshiba Satellite P205D Notebook Announced
Toshiba has updated Satellite line up with a new 17-inch laptop, the P205D. It comes in two models — P205D-S7479 and P205D-S7438 — and is based on AMD processor. The first one is a desktop replacement with latest ATI graphics while the latter one is a value-for-money product. The high-end laptop includes 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, 1440×900 resolution, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphics card with 256MB memory, a/g/n wireless, webcam, microphone, and Vista.
It’s sibling P205D-S7438 comes with similar specifications except 1.9GHz Athlon 64 X2 TK-55 chip, 160GB hard drive, and ATI Radeon Xpress X1200M. Both of them are now available for $1,350 and $850 respectively.
