Toshiba Satellite A300 and P300 Penryn-based laptops leaked
Toshiba is in a process of launching two new notebook computers, the 15.4″ Satellite A300 and the 17″ Satellite P300. Both of them are based on the latest 45nm Core 2 Duo (Penryn) processor and come with a brand new design (different from those boring Satellites). Housed in a glossy aluminum cover, the notebooks offers black keyboard, palm rest with an exclusive finish, fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, 1.3 mega pixel camera and microphone.
The Satellite A300 series will come in two variants — first one on Core 2 Duo T5550 / T8100 processor and second one on an AMD Turion TL-60 chip. It is equipped with 2GB RAM and 160GB / 250GB hard drive. The Penryn model costs $1,481, while AMD based machine will set you for about $1,184.
No word on the specs of P300 (pictured below).
