Soon after kicking new models in Satellite X205 and P205D Series Toshiba updated its A215 notebook series with three new models sporting AMD-ATI chips. The 15.4-inch A215 series comes with decent specifications and appropriate price tag. The A215-S7472 ($2000) is the star attraction of the lot with 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 processor, up to 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 graphics card (128MB memory), 250GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, a/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, embedded webcam and microphone, built-in stereo speakers, fingerprint reader, and Vista.

Its younger sibling A215-S7437 ($900) provides 1.9GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-58 chip, max 4GB RAM, 200GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, ATI Radeon X1200 graphics, b/g wireless, built-in stereo speakers, and Vista. And finally, the A215-S7407 ($650) is for budget users with same above mentioned specs except for 1.8GHz Athlon 64 X2 TK-55 chip, and 80GB storage.
