Toshiba today unveiled two new laptop computers with multi-touch displays. The Portégé M780 Tablet PC (pictured above) and Satellite Pro U500 laptop both come with a multi-touch display and are designed to deliver an enhanced computing experience to students, educators and business professionals through the benefits of touch and provide new alternatives to everyday computing.

The Portégé M780 Tablet PC ($1,279) is based on Intel Core processor, and features faster DDR3 memory, eSATA/USB combo port with Sleep and Charge, 12.1–inch diagonal LED backlit display, spill resistant keyboard, and Windows 7 Professional.

Even the Satellite Pro U500 ($949) feature similar specification except for Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, hard drive 3D impact sensor, HDMI port, as well as a built-in webcam with face recognition login. It further provides slot loading DVD super-multi and an LED backlit keyboard.

Both of them are now available.
