Both of them are 14-inch machines running on Intel processors and based on Windows 8 operating system.

    Toshiba Satellite U940 is powered by 3rd generation Intel Core processor and features a 14-inch LED backlight display (1366 x 768 pixels), Intel HD 4000 Graphics, upto 6GB DDR3 memory, max 1TB hard drive, and 32GB SSD.

    On the other hand the Satellite P845 features third generation Intel Core ULV processor, 14-inch multi-touch display, 6GB RAM, 640GB HDD, and Blu-ray.

    Common features include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Intel Wireless Display, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, card reader, webcam, stereo speakers, and HDMI.

    Operating system is Windows 8.

    Toshiba Satellite U940 and Satellite P845 will be available in Q4 2012
