TabletKiosk today unveiled a new tablet computer which stakes claim to the title of the world’s most powerful tablet PC. The Sahara Slate PC i500 is powered by Intel Core i7-640LM dual-core processor (2.13GHz) and runs Windows 7 Professional operating system. Furthermore, it has a 12-inch touchscreen display, making it pretty useful for business use.
The Sahara Slate PC i500 has a 12” dual mode screen that intuitively switches between a Wacom active digitizer (pen) and two different touch options, including traditional resistive and new, multi-touch capacitive screens. Flexible input options allow users to leverage the precision of Microsoft’s Digital Inking technology for superior handwriting recognition.
Specification include up to 8GB DDR3 memory, 320GB HDD or optional SSD, Intel HD Graphics, and 12.1″ WXGA (1280×800) AFFS+ with LED Backlight display.
Other features include LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and 2x USB 2.0 ports. You can also customize the tablet with a bar code scanner for inventory management or a magnetic stripe reader, creating a mobile point-of-sale device.
