Sony Vaio X ultra-slim notebook introduced

sony_vaio-x-notebook.jpg At the IFA 2009 in Berlin, Germany Sony introduced an ultra-slim notebook computer. The VAIO X is an 11incher measuring only 14mm thick and weighing only 700g. Too portable, no?

The VAIO X series is targeted towards mobile professionals who demand ultra portability, powerful specification, and high battery life.

The latest VAIO also boast of carbon-fiber chassis with an aluminum keyboard.

The prototype model featured Intel Atom processor (but there is hope for Intel CULV), WWAN, 2x USB 2.0 ports, SD/Memory Stick slot, LAN and VGA.

No word on other details.
