
We knew that it was coming; and today Sony went official with it's newest ultra portable machine, the Vaio TT. According to Sony, the Vaio TT is the world’s lightest computer with Blu-ray Disc technology, housed in a lightweight carbon-fiber chassis weighing 2.87 pounds and measuring less than 1-inch thin. The notebook is powered by Intel's Centrino 2 mobile techonolgy, and features an 11.1-inch widescreen LED backlight display with Sony’s XBRITE-DuraView LCD technology, delivering 100 percent color saturation for a wide range of vibrant colors and true-to-life picture quality. The standout feature of this ultraportable are a dual channel 256GB (128GB X 2) solid state drive (SSD) with RAID technology, and WWAN.
