Sony today announced VAIO SZ6- and TZ20-Series (pictured above) with fully integrated Wireless WAN and HSDPA that enables you to connect to super-fast 3.6Mbps connection via mobile phone networks. The firm claims due to “everywair” you can enjoy uninterrupted broadband Internet via mobile phone networks, which means now you won't need to find wireless hot spots. The upgradable firmware will provide you with 7.2Mbps speed. The required hardware is fully integrated so you just have to insert the SIM card into notebook. And the Smart Network software displays all available networks and allows you to select between them at will. Business oriented Vaio SZ6 ultra portable features two graphics chipsets and a Stamina Mode switch, that enables you to opt for extended battery life of over 5 hours or huge graphics power. The sexy 13.3-inch SZ6 (VGN-SZ61VN/X to be more specific) comes with 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo T7700 processor, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 200GB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS graphics card, DVD burner, fingerprint reader, a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, and Vista.
The 11.1-inch Sony TZ20 series (VGN-TZ21VN/X) features a "Full Flat" design and a keyboard which is inspired by "the submerged stones of a Japanese water garden." It's decent specifications, carbon fiber chassis, LED backlight, battery life of 7.5 hours, and 1.24kg weight offers the best possible combination for a mobile user. Powered by Core 2 Duo U7600 ultra low voltage processor, it provides 2GB RAM, 100GB hard drive, Graphics Media Accelerator 950, 1366 x 768 resolution, DVD burner, and same other specs SZ6.
