Sony VAIO P (Pocket) Netbook Coming Soon
Gosh, another netbook!!! I guess there’s only one company that is yet to get into the netbook bandwagon. But come January and that’ll too change. Reportedly, the earlier mentioned Sony laptop is in effect a netbook with 8-inch display. Specification-wise the VAIO P (or Pocket) is pretty similar to any ultra portable — believe me it can give any ultra portable a run for its money. But I guess the most interesting thing about this machine would be its design. I bet Sony will grace its first netbook with an amazing design. Specifications include a 1.33GHz Intel processor (probably an Atom), 8-inch LED display (1600×768), up to a 60GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, Bluetooth, Wireless, Mobile Broadband, and Windows Vista Home Premium or Basic. No word on pricing, but come CES 2009 and everything will be clear.
