Sony, known for its head-turning stylish laptops has announced special edition 15.4-inch FZ notebooks with colorful and symmetrical imagery. The Vaio Graphic Splash Maya Hayuk Edition notebooks comes in two models -- Grow and Never Stop. Both of them are great for college students / home users who can make a style statement with these funky machines, but for business users? nah. The firm says, "the Grow edition captures the feel of an organic forest with deep green, blue and purple flower-growing wildly across the top of the notebook while 'Never Stop' is a colorful, kaleidoscopic design that is decked in interlacing lines and spherical shapes."

Based on Santa Rosa platform, both of them features 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 200GB 4200rpm hard drive, Blu-ray burner, 1280x800 resolution, Nvidia GeForce 8400M GT graphics card with 1GB memory, a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, and Vista. Both of them starts at about $2,500 and will be available from this month.
