Sony Vaio AR60, FZ30, SZ70, CR30 and TP2-Series with Intel Penryn and Blu-ray

sony_vaio-ar600-2.jpg So finally Sony gave an update to its sexy Vaio series with the latest Intel Penryn processors. Additionally, more models are now available with Blu-ray drives. The Vaio AR60 is designed to offer the last word in all-round HD entertainment. With Blu-ray disc, Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics (512MB of VRAM) media users will have a great time pushing this mean machine to its limit. It offers 17-inch WUXGA widescreen display that gives you every last pixel of 1080p Full HD in brilliant colour with X-black LCD screen enhancement and super-bright double lamp illumination. The AR60 also provides 4GB RAM, hybrid DVB-T digital/analogue tuner, a remote control and HDMI.

The 15.4-inch FZ30-Series is similarly specced, minus NVIDIA graphics.

The light weight (1.79kg) VAIO SZ70-Series is an ultra-portable boasting carbon fibre chassis and power-saving LED screen. The notebook incorporates Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor and a unique Stamina Mode switch which allows users to select between two graphics chipsets, choosing extended battery life of over 5 hours or huge graphics power, depending on what they need. It provides 4GB of memory and 250GB hard drive. Whats more, the SZ70 comes with HSDPA WWLAN technology, so mobile users can easily get connected on the road.

The VAIO CR30-Series can be customized with either C2D T8100 or T8300 processor. It offers 1.3 megapixel Motion Eye webcam, and a unique AV Mode feature that lets you watch films on DVD or play audio CDs without needing to start Windows.

The Sony VAIO TP2 Home Entertainment Centre is a cool circular desktop with multimedia capabilities. The latest version of TP2 features Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor, Blu-ray Disc Combo Drive, HDMI, hybrid DVB-T digital/analogue tuner and massive 500GB hard disk.
