• Slate tablets with quad-core NVIDIA processors coming by year end

Last year we had first generation tablets with single-core chips. This year came the second generation tablets with dual-core chips. And by end of this year you’ll be able to buy third-generation tablets with quad-core processors. Seriously, No kidding.

NVIDIA’s President and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang recently confirmed that his company is planning to launch quad-core processors (Tegra 3 aka “Kal-El”) for Android tablets in coming months and consumers will be able to buy slate tablets with NVIDIA quad-core chips during holiday season.
Once the quad-core chips are available, tablets will become incredibly powerful. Just imagine the games you can play on a quad-core tablet! How amazing!
