Samsung X360 thin ultraportable notebook

samsung_x360-1.jpg You thought nothing can come close to Air? Think Again. Sammy's X360 is a worthy MacBook Air competitor with nice design, and decent specification. Also, just like Air it's razer thin and feather light -- 0.66-inches thin (1.2-inches on the thick end), weighting in at only 2.8 pounds. The notebook is based on Intel Centrino 2 ULV processor and provides up to 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD or 120GB HDD, Intel X4500 video card, and 13.3-inch widescreen display (1280 x 800 resolution).

The sad part is that like Air -- and unlike Lenovo X300 -- it doesn't include an integrated optical drive. Other than this it's pretty cool on input output as well as connectivity -- fingerprint reader, 1.3 mp camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3x usb 2.0 ports, 7-in-1 media card reader, PCI ExpressCard/34, HDMI, and a docking port.

The Samsung X360 will come in October starting at approx $2200.
