Samsung T240, T260 monitors and P200 laptop unveiled

samsung_tseries.jpg Samsung Electronics today launched a new, sexy LCD display series for graphics professionals. The T260 is a top-end model with 26" widescreen, 20,000:1 contrast ratio, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 5ms response time, HDMI and optional digital TV tuner. The LCD with its fancy frame will definitely appeal to any user, but I doubt most of you can afford it as such monitors ask for a premium. The T240 24-incher is similarly specced.

Samsung also officially announced the 12.1" P200 ultra portable machine. Engadget reports, it runs Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 Penryn chip, and ATI's Radeon Xpress 1250 integrated graphics. It also comes with 2GB RAM, 200GB HDD, 1.3 megapixel webcam, dual layer DVD burner, b/g wireless, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 6-in-1 memory card reader, and XP Pro / Vista. The P200 is now available in Europe with a starting price of $1,517.
