Samsung R540, R440, R530 laptops introduced
Samsung recently announced three new notebook computers — the R540, R440, and R530. Targeted towards media lovers, the Samsung R40 series features two models, 14-inch R440-11 and 15-inch R540-11. The Samsung R540 is a flagship product with a Blu-ray player, ATI discrete graphics, multi-geature trackpad, and HDMI. Samsung has also upgraded Samsung R530-11 with Intel Core i3 processor and an NVIDIA discrete graphics card.
Features of Samsung R440-11 include Intel Core i3-330M processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 320GB hard drive, 14-inch widescreen display with 1366×768 resolution, GMA 4500MHD graphics, and DVD burner.
On the other hand the Samsung R540-11 features Intel Core i5-450M processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, 15-inch display, ATI Mobility Radeon HD545v graphics, and Blu-ray drive.
Both of them also provides 3W stereo speaker (1.5 W x 2), HD Audio, 0.3MP webcam, 802.11bg/n wireless. 3 USB 2.0 Ports, Ethernet LAN, and Windows 7.
Samsung R530-11 features Intel Core i3-330M Processor, Windows 7 Home Premium, 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, 15.6-inch display, NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics and same other features.
The R440, R540, and R530 will be available through Samsung resellers beginning in July for $729, $999, and $799 respectively.
