Since a long time we haven't seen a Samsung laptop computer. Samsung chose CES platform to unveil its newest R-Series notebook computers. The Samsung R30 series featuring the R430 and R530 and the Samsung R80 series including the R480, R580 and R780 are ideal for viewing HD video, managing digital music, editing photos or playing the coolest PC games. The R80-series is a true multimedia laptop series available in Samsung’s “Touch of Color” gradation with various patterns. It includes Blu-Ray drive, LED backlit display, and NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. On the other hand the R30-Series is a performance series with an ergonomic design that allows for a more enjoyable and productive user experience.

The Samsung R430 and R530 are priced at $670 and the Samsung R780 is priced at $929. All three are available through Samsung resellers now.

The R480 and R580 will be available from March 2010 at price points of $829 and $949 respectively.
