Planning to buy an
Air? If your answer is in affirmation then there's a good news for you as the Cupertino based PC giant has reduced the price of its solid state disk based
MacBook Air by $500. Now the 1.8GHz model with 64GB SSD costs only $2,598. Of course, its still expensive compared to HDD based version that retails for $1,799, but its whole lot cheaper when you compare it to its introductory price. The main reason for this drop is the reduction in prices of Core 2 Duo processor and 64GB SSD. The Intel chip is down by $100 (now it costs $200), while the price of 64GB solid state disk is just $599 instead of $999.
