Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Health and Field tablets announced

Panasonic Toughbook family is known for rugged computing devices. Recently, the firm announced two new tablets under Toughbook series providing health as well as field professionals with rugged machines. Dubbed as Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Health and Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Field, the tablets are designed for health and field professionals respectively.

Talking about the Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Field, it is powered by Intel Core i5 2557M vPro processor (1.7GHz), and feature 10.1″ LCD with Dual Touch and up to 6,000 cd/m2 reflective brightness.

On the other hand the Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Health is powered by Intel Core i5 3427U vPro processor (1.8GHz), but provide the same display.

Common features include Intel HD Graphics, 320GB HDD or 128GB SSD, dual hot swappable batteries providing up to 6.5 hours battery life, barcode reader, smartcard reader, RFID, webcam, LAN, WiFi, GPS, and USB. The 1.58Kg device is also vibration and shock resistant (MIL-STD 810G), and water and dust resistant (IP65, MIL-STD 810G).

Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Field is priced at $2298 while the Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 Health is priced at $2775.

Both of them will be available from August 2012 in European market.
