Palm Foleo sold on eBay for $750!

If you’re a tech enthusiasts then you might be knowing the Palm Foleo mobile companion. But if you’re a newbie then let me fill you in: the Palm Foleo is actually the industry’s first netbook computer. Palm was the first company in the world to launch a netbook computer. Though it was marketed as a mobile companion to go with your smartphone, it was a decently powerful mobile computer.
It featured 416 MHz Intel/Marvell PXA27x processor, Marathon 2700G graphics, 10-inch widescreen display (1024×600 resolution), 128MB RAM, 256MB non-volatile memory, CompactFlash slot (support for max 4GB), SD card slot, Wi-Fi, a full-size QWERTY keyboard, USB port, and Linux.
But sadly because of criticism from industry Palm canceled the launch of Foleo. That’s how Foleo died.
After almost 3 years it was recently spotted on eBay. But now it appears to have been sold for $750.
Here’s our congrats to the buyer for buying a rare mobile computer!
